The Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’, not just set the box office on fire, but also catapulted the careers of many actors associated with it. One such actor is Bobby Deol, who was having a not so good time at the box office with his films. But all it took was the film Animal, which soared Bobby into the orbit of one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood today. No wonder then, many filmmakers are queuing up to sign him.
Even though Bobby Deol is taking his time to give his nod for the next project, it now seems that he is on the verge of signing the dotted lines of filmmaker Priyadarshan, as per a report in Pinkvilla. The report stated that the said film will be starring Saif Ali Khan as the leading man. On the other hand, Bobby Deol is reportedly in talks with the film’s director to play the antagonist.

As per a source-based report in the aforementioned publication, it has been said that, after hearing the way his character will shape up in the film, Bobby is really happy with the film’s narration and also about the role which he has been offered. The report stated that the said character's role will be full of turns and twists and will look like a positive one at first… only to be revealed that he is the antagonist! And, as for Saif Ali Khan, he will be seen playing the role of a blind man in the said film.

The said report furthermore stated that, even though Bobby has got his appointment diary booked till the next six months, he has now tried to squeak in around 30 days in order to accommodate to shoot for Priyadarshan’s film. On the other hand, Priyadarshan has another film happening with Akshay Kumar. Details of both the films, however, have been strictly kept under the wraps. Watch this space for developments.
