Is Alia Bhatt all set to start the shooting of YRF’s spy universe from July? Here’s what we know

Alia Bhatt is one of the very few actors in Bollywood, who has never shied away from experimenting with the roles in films. Be it her student act in her debut film Student Of The Year, her Rani-act in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, her stunningly different avatar in Gangubai Kathiawadi or her undercover agent in Vicky Kaushal’s Raazi… this lady has been there, done that! The coming months will see Alia Bhatt in films which will have her in totally varied roles.

One such film is Yash Raj Film’s untitled next, in which she will be seen in the role of an undercover agent. As per a recent source-based news in Mid Day, it has been reported that, Alia Bhatt will start shooting for the said film from July this year. The film, which is a part of the Yash Raj Film’s spy universe, will see Alia Bhatt doing some really stunning action sequences as well. Readers may recall that, Alia Bhatt had done sone really cool action scenes in the Hollywood flick Heart Of Stone, wherein her co-star was Gal Gadot.

Knowing the lady fully well, it will surely be a given that Alia Bhatt will leave no stone unturned as far as the preparations for the role in the film is concerned. The said report stated that, the lady has been training incessantly with the well-known international action choreographers Se-yeong Oh and Craig Macrae (who are amongst the seven action directors in the film) in the YRF studios. The action directors have been specially flown down from Seoul and London respectively.

The same report stated that, the so-far-untitled film’s producer Aditya Chopra and the director Shiv Rawail have scheduled a month-long calendar at the YRF Studios in Andheri. As for Alia’s introduction scene in the film, it has been said that she will be seen taking on a group of baddies!

Alia Bhatt will be soon joined by the stunning Sharvari Wagh (who will be seen in a totally different role in her latest film Munjya, which is releasing this week). Reports state that Sharvari will be seen playing the role of Alia Bhatt’s sister in the film.

And also, in order to avoid any kind of information or photo leaks from the sets of the film, Aditya Chopra will be reportedly conducting the said shoot with a limited crew. After the stint in Mumbai, the film will see the on-screen sister duo (Alia Bhatt and Sharvari) flying to the UK, where they will be meeting Anil Kapoor, who will be seen in the role of their mentor. Besides Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, the film will also see Bobby Deol, who will be seen in the role of a character with grey shades.
