Babil Khan remembers ‘Baba’ Irrfan Khan with unseen pics from Angrezi Medium

There are actors, there are stars and then, there are immortal legends. The stellar performer Irrfan Khan falls under the last category. Even though he is not present amongst us today, his seamless work still continues to linger in everyone’s memories and resonate as lessons for many youngsters.
Speaking about memories, Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan recently took to social media and shared a few unseen photographs of his ‘Baba’ with the filmmaker Homi Adajania. What made the post really special was the caption that he had written along with it. These photos are seemingly from the sets of Irrfan Khan’s last film Angrezi Medium. These photographs seem to have captured some of the candid and pensive moments shared by the film maker with the actor.
On his Babil captioned the post as, ‘True friendship is the great equaliser of pride, no formidable demon of superbia can survive the piercing love of a true friendship. I remember that there were very few people in the end that made baba laugh like Homi and I guess that is the greatest gift of all, laughter’.
Besides that, Babil also shared an extremely insightful reel on Instagram Stories about an Irrfan Khan’s interview, wherein he speaks of the role women play in the society. There was also an interesting story about Irrfan Khan which was shared by film maker Vishal Bharadwaj.
Readers may recall that, the late Irrfan Khan bid adieu to the moral world on 29 April 2020, leaving behind a legacy of work in the form of some of films which, today, act as an institution to many. As for Irrfan Khan’s son Babil, he always credits all the success and happiness of his life to his ‘Baba’ (Irrfan Khan). Thanks to his down to earth nature and the humility that he carries, Babil has earned immense praise and appreciation from everyone, including the netizens on social media.
On the professional front, Babil Khan was recently seen in the much-appreciated TV miniseries of Shiv Rawail’s historical drama The Railway Men. Babil was seen along with other actors including
R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Juhi Chawla and others. Besides that, Babil is presently busy shooting for The Umesh Chronicles, which is being directed by Shoojit Sircar and also stars the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
