Sonakshi Sinha shares new pic from ‘Honeymoon Round 2’ from Philippines; says ‘Now waiting for Zaheer Iqbal’

Amidst all the hype and glitz of the ongoing wedding and its marathon pre and post event functions of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, there were the newlyweds Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who went on a dreamy honeymoon. And the location that they had chosen was the serene islands of the Philippines.

Both, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal took to social media and shared a bunch of breath-taking pics which were all about serenity, tranquillity and calmness in one frame! Sonakshi Sinha posted these pics and captioned it as ‘Honeymoon Round 2’ with the location being Philippines. On a lighter note, Sonakshi Sinha wrote, ‘Now waiting for Zaheer to get here coz’ we had to take separate flights’. She added a bunch of smiley emojis to the caption.

It only looks like yesterday that the couple had got married in an intimate ceremony. Both Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had got married as per civil marriage ceremony. Post their marriage, both Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal went on a ‘mini-honeymoon’. The location chosen was Singapore. Immediately after that, Sonkashi Sinha had to return back in order to promote her film Kakuda.

And when she was asked about the reason why she did not take a longer break, the actress, who was in conversation with The Indian Express said that “I just got married, guys. Pata nahi aisa bhi kya kar diya maine. Maine who (honeymoon) bhi kar diya. And now I am back to work and loving it”.

As for the film Kakuda, besides Sonakshi Sinha, it also starred Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem as her co-stars. The film was directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and was released on Zee 5. Besides Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem’s performances, it was Sonakshi Sinha’s stellar performance in the horror-comedy film, which became one of the talking points as well as the USPs.
