Narendra Modi Swear-In Ceremony: From Rajnikanth, Mukesh Ambani, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Suressh Gopi to Anil Kapoor, these celebs will be attending the grand event

Today (June 9) is the day for which not just the common man, but also the who’s who of almost every industry had been waiting for. Today is the day when, Narendra Modi will be attending the swearing-in ceremony to take the oath of becoming India’s Prime Minister.

Needless to say, almost every Indian citizen will be glued to their television sets or mobile phones to see (read ‘witness’) the grand ceremony. There are many celebrities who have gone to Delhi to attend Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony (for a third straight term), along with top ministers. These celebs include the likes of eternal superstar Rajnikanth, Anupam Kher and many others.

Speaking to ANI on the occasion of Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony, Rajnikanth said that “People have also elected a strong opposition in this Parliament election. It will lead to a healthy democracy. I received an invitation for Chandrababu Naidu's swearing-in ceremony as Andhra Pradesh CM. I will update you about going there”.

On the other hand, there was Anupam Kher who said that it was his good fortune that, in a timespan of fifteen years, it was his third time that he had an opportunity to take part in the swearing-in ceremony. And the best part was that, it will be the same Prime Minister (referring to Narendra Modi), who will be taking the oath all the three times, along with his ministers. It’s a historic moment for every one of us. Under the able and proven leadership of Narendra Modi, we can soon be the third economy.

On his part, Anil Kapoor (who has become the talk of the town because of him being the newly chosen host of Bigg Boss OTT 3), said, “I just want the country to prosper each time”. Saying that, he showed a thumbs up sign and said, “Positive”.

There was also the superstar Malayalam actor Suressh Gopi, who was also seen attending the grand ceremony. Speaking to ANI, he said (in Hindi), that he will talk after the ceremony as there was no time (to talk now). He also requested the media personnel to spare him some time. Saying that, he assured that, after that, he will talk to them and talk through them!

The event also saw the attendance of Bollywood superstars in the form of Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, who exchanged a warm hug after they met. Besides them, there was also the business baron Mukesh Ambani along with his son Anant Ambani who was seen present at the grand event. One also spotted Vikrant Massey at the swear-in ceremony.
