There could not be any better news to start the day for the gang of the upcoming film Kill than to know that the globally renowned producers of the Hollywood hit flick John Wick are now all set to remake their film in English! It will be Chad Stahelski, Jason Spitz, and Alex Young of 87Eleven Entertainment, who will be leading the English remake of the Hindi film Kill, as per a report in Deadline.
As for the film Kill, it is being directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and is being produced by Karan Johar. The film is being readied to be released in theatres on July 5. The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival, met with an absolutely encouraging and overwhelming response everywhere.
The story plot of the film Kill is all about Amrit (Lakshya), who happens to be an Indian Army commando. Life and the goons throw their challenges when he is aboard a New Delhi-bound train, the very train where his ladylove Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is also travelling. The major crux of the film has been shot inside the train where Amrit gets on a mission to save Tulika from all the unforeseen dangers in the form of the deadly goons.
The USPs of the Kill (as seen in the gripping trailer) comes across as its high-octane action (which looks at par with Hollywood standards), a gripping storyline that’s laced with unexpected and shocking twists and turns that is bound to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. Added to that, the universally appealing themes (read ‘emotions’) like love, revenge, betrayal, and redemption is expected to strike a chord with the cinegoers.
Besides Lakshya and Tanya Maniktala, the film also stars Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi and Harsh Chhaya. The film is being produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta and Achin Jain.
