Billed as two of the topmost actors in the television arena, Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have been sharing photographs of their recent trip to Europe.

    Little did they know that, their dream vacay will eventually and suddenly turn into a nightmare! The much-celebrated celebrity couple became victims to a theft, which had taken place in Europe. Both Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya landed up losing their important belongings approximately to the tune of Rs. ten lakhs.

    As per a news report in The Times Of India, Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya lost their passports, wallets, and all the shopping acquired during their trip to the theft. Speaking to the said publication, Vivek Dahiya said that everything about their trip had been incredible, except for (the theft) incident.

    While narrating their ordeal, Vivek Dahiya said that they had arrived in Florence and had planned to stay for a day. And, after that, they had gone to check out a property that they liked for their stay and had left all their belongings in a car parked outside. In the same breath, he added, when he returned to get their things, they were shocked to find that the car had been broken into, and their passports, wallets, money, shopping, and all their valuable items were gone, but some old clothes and food items were left behind.

    On her part, Divyanka Tripathi took to social media and tweeted, “We are continuously trying to call the Indian Embassy based in Rome, no one is picking up the calls. Kindly suggest a way out. Please suggest a way out @IndiainItaly @vanirao’.

    Vivek Dahiya added that they (him and Divyanka Tripathi) require temporary passports and substantial help from the embassy to get back to India, as they (now) have nothing with them. He added that, when they reached out to the local police station, they dismissed his case saying that they will be unable to help them because of the absence of the CCTV cameras.
