    Actor and Punjabi pop music star Diljit Dosanjh gave an electrifying performance on a popular celebrity talk show in America. He appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as part of his DIL-LUMINATI WORLD TOUR. He performed a Punjabi song titled "Born to Shine/G.O.A.T." with his full band. During the 5-minute-plus performance, Diljit appeared dressed in traditional Punjabi attire and performed some traditional dance steps.

    Jimmy Fallon introduced Diljit Dosanjh as "the biggest Punjabi artist on the planet." This marks Diljit's debut on US television, and he knocked it out of the park with stellar confidence, swag, and talent, while raising the profile of Punjabi pop culture globally.

    Before his appearance on the show, Diljit and Jimmy engaged in a few light-hearted conversations backstage. In one of the videos, Diljit teaches Jimmy a few Punjabi phrases. Jimmy repeated "Panjabi Aa Gaye Oye" (Punjabi has arrived) and "Sat Sri Akaal" (Call to victory) almost flawlessly, even mimicking the native pride while saying those words.

    Diljit Dosanjh has been making headlines for all the right reasons over the last few days. Recently, he made quite a splash with his musical debut in the south with the upcoming Telugu movie, Kalki 2898 AD. He has sung the hero-introduction song titled "Bairava Anthem," performing the Punjabi lines in all versions of the song, which seems to have struck a chord with the audience.

    "Bairava Anthem" is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, and the filmmakers released it as the first single from the movie amid ongoing promotions. The music video features Diljit and Telugu superstar Prabhas performing the thumping beats in Punjabi costumes.

    Kalki 2898 AD will open in cinemas on June 27.
