    Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is taking utmost care of his wife and the would-be mother, Deepika Padukone. He is there besides her at every step. Together they both have always set couple goals. Speaking about the mother-to-be Deepika Padukone, the pregnancy glow on her face is simply unmissable.

    Today, Deepika Padukone took to social media and shared a few super important and easy steps for self-care as it's the ‘Self-Care Month’ going on. Deepika wrote a long note on social media emphasising on the importance of self-care. It was her husband Ranveer Singh whose comment ‘Works like magic!’ simply made the post furthermore light up!

    On her part, Deepika Padukone wrote, ‘It’s Self-Care Month. But why celebrate ‘Self-Care Month’ when you can practice simple acts of self-care every day? I love a good workout. I don’t work out to ‘look good’ but to ‘feel fit’. Exercise has been part of my lifestyle for as long as I can remember’.

    She continued, ‘However, when I can’t fit in a workout, I practice this simple 5-minute routine. I do this every day, whether I work out or not. It’s especially useful after a long flight or just to decompress. Join me in making self-care a daily practice’.

    The Kalki 2898 AD actress then wrote about a few poses, which included Viparita Karani (legs-up-the-wall pose). She then gave a timetable of sorts by writing the importance of various activities in our daily lives.

    She advised to start your day with the aforementioned pose, which will eventually ‘help in the support of the lymphatic and glymphatic systems, boosting your immune system, promotes the flow of oxygenated blood to the upper body and stimulates lymphatic fluid flow, aids in detoxification and lymphatic drainage and also gently opens the hips and hamstrings’.

    Deepika, then, spoke about the importance of the said pose before sleeping. Being the ever- caring person that she is, she also very categorically mentioned about how to do the aforementioned pose during pregnancy!

    Well… that’s just not all. Deepika Padukone also mentioned the ones who should refrain from doing the said pose. She wrote, ‘Those with glaucoma and individuals with uncontrollable high blood pressure’ should not do it. At the same time, she also advised to ‘consult your yoga instructor before performing these asanas’.
