While on one hand, the Anil Kapoor hosted Bigg Boss OTT 3 is going great guns, preparations have already begun for Bigg Boss, the original format. And guess what! The show will be hosted by the inimitable Salman Khan himself, as per the reports available.
The reports also state that the show has reportedly found its first contestant as well. And the name of the contestant is Shoaib Ibrahim, who happens to be the husband of the extremely popular actress Dipika Kakar. Readers may note that, till now, there has been no official announcement or confirmation regarding the same.
On the other hand, the Anil Kapoor hosted Bigg Boss OTT 3 is going great guns. After taking a moderate start, the show is now racing towards being one of the most widely watched shows on television. As of now, the show has been in the news and has been making news for a couple of reasons.
Topping the list was the clip of Armaan Malik and his wife Kritika Malik getting ‘intimate’, which invited the ire of Shiv Sena leader, who demanded action. After the unexpected controversy, the show’s makers issued a clarification letter to the media. A gist of the letter read as, ‘JioCinema adheres to strict programming standards and guidelines to ensure quality and appropriateness of any content that streams on our platform. Bigg Boss OTT which was streamed on JioCinema did not have any such content. The video clip in circulation is doctored to include obscenity and is fake’.
It had added, ‘Our teams are working towards identifying the origins of this clip and will initiate action against those responsible for creating and distributing such defamatory content against Bigg Boss OTT and JioCinema’. As a step in that direction, the show’s makers even filed a complaint against the doctored clip with the Cyber Cell unit of the Mumbai Police department.
