Taapsee beaming with the success of her film Kachana 2
Taapsee is beaming with the success of her film Kachana 2. Many told the 27-year-old actress that this film would be the end of her acting career. But the actress was not left regretting her decision with the success of the film. "Look! I have a blockbuster to my credit now and I didn't play a role where I was just standing in a corner", she said.
"A lot of people in Telugu film industry told me that this film would be the end of my career. However, the reaction was the complete opposite in Tamil film industry. I heard a lot of people tell me that this film will do a whole lot of good to my career. Now that I've proved all the naysayers wrong, I can't tell you how thrilled I'm", said the 27-year-old actress.
The actress also said that she was not very sure about the film when she first read the script, but eventually agreed to do the film written and directed by Rahgava Lawrence. “In the end, I told him, 'I still wasn't sure if I could pull it off, but if he had confidence in my abilities, then I'm game for it.' Moreover, it's really tough to portray fear because there is no real ghost when you shoot. So, I had to unlearn a lot of things that I knew about acting and just follow the director's vision. I had to learn from scratch and surrendered myself to do exactly what Lawrence wanted me to do", she said.
