Singam 2: Hari set to change the history of sequels failure in South
Hari, director of Singam is all set to remove the drought of sequels failure in South by his next flick Singam 2. The director seems pretty confident about the success of second instalment of the series. There have been talks in the town about the trailer of the flick that it resembles the first part and Hari seems not so bothered about that and went on to say that this film is a sequel and it is meant to look like the first part.
The director said that he wasn’t even sure that he would come up with the sequel of Singam. He said, “I did not make this film to ride on the commercial gains of Singam. There was already a story waiting to be told in the first film. I think that is why those who have seen the film so far are impressed by how the film has come out.” But now when the film is on the edge of its release, he is confident that viewers will figure out the difference between the two parts when they’ll see the film.
Hari is known for having a big cast in his films that includes a bunch of character artists and even Hollywood actors. The director believes that a perfect casting strengthens a scene and that increases the percentage of impact among the viewers. Singam 2 is slated to release on July 4, featuring Suriya, Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Vivek and Santhanam in the lead roles.
