Ramesh Venkat To Make His Directorial Debut In Kollywood

Ramesh Venkat, who is popular for starting YouTube channel Eruma Saani, is all set to foray in Kollywood.  He will debut in Tamil cinema as a director with the film Odavum Mudiyadhu Oliyavum Mudiyadhu (OMOM). Ramesh is very excited to start working on the film.

"The film will bring together popular actors from different YouTube channels - Vijay & Harija from Eruma Saani, Gopi and Sudhakar from Madras Central, Vignesh from Smile Settai and Sha Ra & Augustine from Temple Monkeys. V Sathyamurthi, who has done the lead role in the film Thappu Thanda will play a crucial role in the film. OMOM is on the lines of Venkat Prahu's Chennai 600028 where every actor is a hero,” said an excited Ramesh.

He added, "The film will be a horror comedy and we plan to begin the shoot after Christmas. Since the audience will expect a touch of sarcasm from us, courtesy our work in Eruma Saani, there will be a dash of satire as well. Music for the film is by Kaushik Krish who worked in Meesaya Murukku and Thani Oruvan. While cinematography is by Joshua J Perez, Thoufiq and I are in charge of the editing. The motion poster of the film, which was released a few days ago, was done by 12th standard student from PSBB School, Pravin Kumar. The film will be a summer release."

Though Ramesh has not directed any feature film in the past, but he said that he is very confident of directing his debut feature movie.
