Arvind Swamy To Team Up With Director Karthick Naren?

Karthick Naren debuted in direction with a crime thriller, ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’. The film got highly positive reviews upon its release. The 22-year-old director is ready to captivate the audience with his next film which is titled as ‘Naragasooran', with a tagline ‘the tale of a fallen demon’.

In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicles, Karthick said, “The film is an intense suspense drama, which will push the envelope of story-telling. In terms of screenplay also, I will not make any commercial compromise like my earlier flick D 16 and stick to what the story commands.” On asked about casting a big star, he replied, “I can’t reveal anything other than the title.” But, sources have apparently divulged the male lead.

It is being believed that Arvind Swamy has been roped in for the movie. A source close to the film revealed, “Karthik was very particular that only Arvind Swami can do justice to the character he has envisaged and hence approached him. The Thani Oruvan actor was impressed with the script and will soon be brought on board.” Reportedly, the story of the film is about the rise and fall of a gangster.
