TV Actress Vahbiz Dorabjee Finally Opens Up About Her Divorce And The Alleged Alimony Of 2 Crores!

Vahbiz Dorabjee and Vivian D’Sena met on the sets of Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani and fell in love. The two also got married and were one of the most loved couples of TV. However, problems in their marriage began to crop up, so much so that the two chose to go separate ways. They started living separately in 2016, three years after they tied the knot. But even in 2019, the two have not filed for a divorce.

Recent reports cropped up claiming that the probable reason why they are not getting divorced is the alimony of 2 crores that Vahbiz had asked from husband Vivian D’Sena. The rumor spread like wildfire and now, finally, Vahbiz had decided to open up about it.

She wrote a post on Instagram, something of the likes of an open letter, and asked people not to meddle in her private life. She said that the fact that she is a celebrity does not mean that she cannot be hurt.

In a recent interview with Times of India, the actress said,

“There’s not much truth to the story that is floating in the media related to the alimony. I am enraged and I kept quiet for way too long. I always thought someday this will come to an end and it will stop, but it is going on. People are writing rubbish stuff without even trying to talk to me.”

    She also said,

“Yes, the divorce is not through and there are reasons for it. The matter is in court and I don’t want to disrespect it. People are telling me that you belong to such an affluent and rich family why do you have to ask for alimony. I mean seriously! I just want to ask that if a girl from a normal family would have done the same, would they have questioned her as well. I am his wife and his responsibility. If the marriage has not worked, it is because of both of us and only one person can’t be blamed for it. People have a problem that I belong to a well-off family, but I want to tell them that it doesn’t matter and doesn’t take away my right as his wife. They can’t ask me, how much I have asked for or what is he paying me because it is nobody’s business.”

Vivian D’Sena is playing the lead in Shakti: Ek Ashtitva Ke Ehsaas Ki while Vahbiz was last seen in Kya Haal Mr. Panchaal.
