Onam Is The Best Excuse For Kalidas Jayaram To Spend Time With Family
Kalidas Jayaram is just one film old in the Mollywood industries but still he is a recognised face. He started acting early in his life as a child artist. The actor then made his debut as a lead actor in Tamil film ‘Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum’ last year, which was helmed by Amudeshwar.
The actor is currently on a festive mode as today is Onam. In a recent interview, he told about his plans for Onam and said that the festival is the best excuse to spend quality time with his family. He said, “I will be at our Kochi home with my family. Actually Onam has always been an excuse for us to get together. It is the one day of the year when we make it a point to be together, come what may. All through our childhood we used to celebrate it in Chennai”.
He further added, “Appa used to be particular that we start the celebrations from Atham onwards. Gradually all of us turned busy. But for the past two to three years, we have been celebrating Onam in Kochi. So, it has picked up again and we get together with cousins. My Malayalam movie stint too has actually helped me re-connect with Kerala. I am a pakka Malayali now”. The actor is currently awaiting the release of ‘Oru Pakka Kathai’.
