Ravi Varma creates history; casts Rajkumar brothers

If all goes as expected, actor Shivarajkumar will soon be sharing the screen space with his brother Puneeth Rajkumar. According to the latest reports, stunt director Rahul Dholakia has managed to rope in the two Sandalwood star brothers together for the first time. Though, it was waiting to happen for years and many directors tried for it, it seems that stuntman-turned-filmmaker Ravi Verma has finally made it.

Ravi Varma who is currently busy working for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie Raees, will kick start his first directorial venture as soon as finishes the current project. "Over the last four months, I have been preparing for Shah Rukh Khan's movie, which will be directed by Rahul Dholakia. I have heard the story and now, I am working on the fight scenes. The film starts rolling from March. Meanwhile, both Shivarajkumar and Puneeth will be completing their prior commitments", he confirms.

Interestingly, Shivarajkumar is known for his action and Puneeth Rajkumar is famous for his dance-moves.

Talking about the yet-to-be-titled project, Puneeth says, "It is an exciting story. Ravi told me that I have to act with Shivanna and I have agreed to be a part of the project. The shooting will begin as soon as the script work is completed." On the other hand, Jayanna reveals, "I am sure that the movie won't disappoint Puneeth and Shivanna fans. Both actors have already heard the script."

About the idea of casting the two brothers in his directorial debut and breaking the jinx, Varma said, "It is because of the story. It is an original story and it demanded two such actors. I was also lucky. Both of them liked the story and I am giving final touches to the script."

As reports reveal that the script is 'OKAYED' by both Puneeth and Shivarajkumar, let's wait for the movie to go on floors...!
