Samuel L. Jackson won’t feature in Captain America: Civil War
Samuel L. Jackson will not be seen in Captain America: Civil War. Although the 66-year-old actor was seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron, don’t have expectations of seeing the actor in Captain America: Civil War, reported by TheHollywoodReporter.
"I'm not in Captain America 3", Jackson told Collider. "I can't figure that out, but I'm not. I guess I'm still out there, trying to figure out what happened to SHIELD and who these other people are”, he added. In Age of Ultron, by the end of the movie the actor appear to be working at the Avengers' new facility in a similar role to the one he served with SHIELD. With almost all of the Avengers showing up in Captain America: Civil War, it is a surprising call not to include the character of Nick Fury in the film.
Samuel L. Jackson, pointed out in February, that he has only two more movies left on his current contract. So perhaps Marvel are holding out to feature him in the two-part Avengers: Infinity War movies due in 2018 and 2019. "I'm looking for a contract extension right now, yeah," he told Collider. "I'm looking to re-up", he added.
