Freddie Highmore has aspirations to be considered for Spiderman

Ever since Sony Pictures and Marvel announced the rebooting of Spiderman franchise, the aspirations of many actors have risen to the peak. One of them is Freddie Highmore who apparently wants to be considered for the role.

Freddie in a recent interview admitted that he’d like to explore the idea of acting as Spiderman and fitting in the shoes of Andrew Garfield. “Obviously I would love to be considered. That would be fantastic. I guess we'll just see how things go. You always feel like you can identify with him," the young British actor said of the character's appeal. He's that kind of guy at school who wasn't perhaps in the really cool group, but who was extremely intelligent and managed to find confidence in being Spider-Man - in this other side to his life," he said.
