They were the television’s married couple in The Sopranos. Yes we are talking about Edie Falco and late James Gandolfini, who didn’t enjoy a peaceful conjugal life in the HBO series but they were very much in love with each other. Hence the sudden death of her former co-star is quite shocking to Falco.

In a statement Falco said, "I am shocked and devastated by Jim's passing. He was a man of tremendous depth and sensitivity, with a kindness and generosity beyond words.” She stated more, "I consider myself very lucky to have spent 10 years as his close colleague. My heart goes out to his family. As those of us in his pretend one hold on to the memories of our intense and beautiful time together. The love between Tony and Carmela was one of the greatest I've ever known.”

Gandolfini’s other Sopranos co-stars like Michael Imperioli, Lorraine Bracco, Steven Van Zandt and the creator of the series David Chase also commemorated their beloved star. On the other hand, the Bewitched star Nicole Kidman had never the opportunity to work with Gandolfini but she has enough knowledge on how it would feel to share the screen space with the legendary actor. He was the executive producer of Hemingway & Gellhorn, last year's HBO film which starred Kidman and Clive Owen. Kidman mourned, "Such a great actor, what a big loss.” She added, "Sending love and prayers to James' family. He will be greatly missed." Gandolfini suffered from a heart attack in Italy and breathed his last on Wednesday at the age of 51.
