Since reports surfaced that Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are expecting a baby boy through surrogacy, troubles soared up for the star as charges of illegal sex-determination were raised against him. But he has got a clean chit from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation over the row.
To initiate investigations, BMC officials paid a visit to Shah Rukh Khan’s residence ‘Mannat’ but the star was not present at the venue at that time. He is presently out of the country on a trip to London along with his family. Over phone he talked to the officers and denied all the allegations labeled against him. He clarified that no surrogacy test has been conducted yet and he has never confirmed the reports about the unborn male child to media. A spokesperson from Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai also disclosed that no doctor has been consulted for the talked about surrogacy yet.
As the BMC officials have been convinced with the latest findings, now they will send a report to the Health Ministry (Maharashtra) clearing SRK from all the sex determination allegations. Hence SRK is now free from all the troubles and will breathe with relief. He will now focus with more energy on Chennai Express promotions, which is set to release on August 8. Even before the clearance from BMC, SRK’s fans took to Twitter and demanded that media should apologise for defaming their acting icon. #MediaApologiseToSRK was trending on Twitter and the superstar received huge support from his fans on the social networking site.
