Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif Starrer 'Jagga Jasoos' Not Releasing This Year?

Long awaited Indian comedy-drama ‘Jagga Jasoos’ went on the floors over two years back and has been in the making for far too long now. The flick stars ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, and their break-up is one of the factors causing the delay in the completion of the film, which was all set to hit silver screen this year. Well, not much to a surprise after several ups and downs coming in the movie’s way, here’s another hindrance. If recent reports are to be trusted, the film will now release in March next year.

The head of Disney UTV and the movie’s producer Sidharth Roy Kapur revealed, "We have the final leg of the film left to be shot. We are shooting in September for a few more days and we will wrap the film. Then, we will decide when to release the film”.

In addition, a source disclosed, “The release of the film has now been pushed to either March 24 or 31 next year. Ranbir has Ae Dil Hai Mushkil releasing in October and Katrina has Baar Baar Dekho in September this year. So they want a considerable gap between their films and Jagga”.

Directed by Anurag Basu, the movie narrates the story of a teenage detective searching for his missing father. Well, we hope that the film sails smoothly now and at least arrives in theatres next year.
