The film is directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and stars Ratna Pathak Shah and Pankaj Tripathi. The film has released worldwide and has opened to great appreciation. 

Earlier, 'Nil Battey Sannata' has received numerous accolades at the BFI London Festival and the Silk Road International Film Festival in China. And the film has opened to huge rounds of applause by the Indian audience too. This positive, women-centric film is a part of the trend that Bollywood has been following for a while and it's a very successful experiment.
