M.S. Dhoni Biopic To Hit Silver Screen In September’16

The release date of Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story has been revealed. The biopic that is based on India’s World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will see Sushant Singh Rajput in the shoes of the captain. The actor took to twitter to unveil the date of his upcoming film.

The actor wrote:

To done the role of the M.S. Dhoni, the Detective Byomkesh Bakshy star has gone through rigorous training and makeover to look like the captain. The biopic has been shot broadly in Ranchi, which is the birth place of M.S. Dhoni. Actress Kiara Advani who made her debut with 2014 comedy drama film, Fugly, plays the role of captain’s wife, Sakshi, in the film.

Besides Sushant and Kiara, the film features veteran actor Anupam Kher in the role of Dhoni's father Pan Singh. Actress Bhumika Chawla of Tere Naam fame will also make a comeback with the film. The movie is being produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment.
