Aamir Khan Production’s Next Is Already Underway And You Didn’t Even Know

All those of you who were probably wondering why is Aamir Khan not active enough as a producer, you might not know he’s pretty good with keeping secrets. And not too different is his wife Kiran Rao who we all had been waiting for to direct her next film. As it turns out, not only is Aamir Khan’s next production already underway, the film is being is directed by no one else but Kiran herself.

Yes, according to reports, Kiran Rao has been shooting for her next directorial in Mumbai’s Filmalaya studios for the last one month and has well been successful to keep it a low key affair. While Aamir is producing this film, it is reported that he will also play a significant cameo in the process. Aamir has been completely occupied with Dangal in the last two years and didn’t intend to get involved in any production work either.

While Kiran’s last Dhobi Ghaat was a film for an extremely niche audience, this one too is apparently a small budgeted affair. Titled Begum Aapa, the film will narrate a story of an elderly woman and her relationships with a bunch of kids. The star cast of the film is still under wraps but it is anticipated that this one too will not have a lot of big names involved.

Talking about discretion, just like Aamir sprung a surprise by announcing he was a part of Dhobi Ghaat in 2011, this one too has been in the making quite secretively. Although this time, Mr. Perfectionist doesn’t have a full-fledged role to carry. If all goes well, the film may be ready to hit the screens in the first half of 2017.
