Thandel is the story of a fisherman who accidentally crosses into international waters and is arrested by Pakistani authorities. How he returns to the love of his life is the central plot of the film. As mentioned earlier, Sai Pallavi's role brings a crucial twist to the love story, which begins with a conflict between Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's characters and forms the core drama in Thandel.

Thandel's OTT rights

Netflix recently announced the purchase of digital rights for the upcoming sea-action romantic film. Reportedly, Netflix spent a whopping Rs 40 crore on the rights to Thandel, which is officially the largest amount spent on any Naga Chaitanya film to date. The film will be available for streaming on the OTT platform after its theatrical release, which is yet to be announced.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel has music by National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad. The action drama is being produced by Bunny Vas on a budget of Rs 55 crore, according to reports.
