Just a few weeks back, Kapil Sharma announced his break from the show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ the undisputed King of comedy. Just as when everyone thought that, the show was shutting down, there came a popping message from the comic actor that, they are not shutting down the show, but, have just changed the channels of telecast, with the proper usage of the tagline, ‘Sirf ghar badla hai…Parivaar nahi’.
For the unversed, Kapil Sharma and his team moved onto the OTT major Netflix with their show being titled The Great Indian Kapil Show. One of the highlights of the new show was the re-entry of Sunil Grover aka Gutthi on the team. Right from the time the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show got telecasted, it had been getting mixed responses from many.
While a certain section of the audience felt truly entertained with the show, there were others who were not that happy with the new format, even though the show saw the otherwise elusive Aamir Khan as one of the guests. There were also reports coming in the media which stated Netflix’s wrapping up of the season 1 amidst reports of falling TRPs.
Today, Archana Puran Singh took to social media and posted a collage of all the ‘comments’ about the show in the media. As a fitting reply, she captioned the post stating, ‘Yeh laughter kabhi nahi hoga kam, kyunki there are more episodes to come’. Well... it did not end there! There were other videos which featured the guests who had brought their presence on the show. These guests included the likes of Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Farah Khan and many others… including the global sensation Ed Sheeran.
In no time, there were many comments which made it to the said post as the reply from the netizens. While there were many who were seen analysing the reasons for ‘poor TRPs’, there were also others who were in strong support of Kapil Sharma and his entire gang from the show!
