Dhanush and Dil Raju collaborating on a Telugu project? Here’s what we know

Kollywood’s versatile actor Dhanush has been very keen on working with Telugu filmmakers, extending his market in Tollywood. The actor, who is already working with acclaimed Telugu director Sekhar Kammula for his upcoming film Kubera, is rumoured to have signed a project with popular producer Dil Raju. According to recent reports, the producer of Sri Venkateswara Creations banner is eyeing to collaborate with Dhanush for an untitled script.  

Dhanush and Dil Raju’s project on cards?

Producer Dil Raju has pitched a story and the Captain Miller star has liked it, as per reports. The project is reportedly going to be directed by Sreekaram-fame Kishore Reddy. Just like his debut film, Kishore has come up with an interesting script with a strong social message. The filming is set to commence soon after Dhanush completes his current projects. Other details about the new project will be announced soon by the team. 

Dhanush’s project with Sekhar Kammula

Meanwhile, the Asuran star is currently shooting for his upcoming ambitious project Kubera, which is directed by Sekhar Kammula. Touted to be a gangster-political drama, the actor is said to play a homeless man who later becomes a mafia don. The movie also stars an ensemble star cast including Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles.

Besides Kubera, Dhanush has also reportedly signed an untitled project with Amaran director Rajkumar Periasamy. He will also be starring as maestro Ilaiyaraaja in his upcoming biopic. Apart from that, Dhanush's two major directorial ventures – Raayan and Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam – will also be hitting the big screens this year.  

Dil Raju to join hands with Vijay Deverakonda again?

Meanwhile, Dil Raju recently announced his yet another collaboration with Vijay Deverakonda. Despite The Family Star becoming a massive box office bomb, the actor-producer duo has decided to join hands once again for yet another project, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, which is tentatively titled SVC59.  

Dil Raju, who previously collaborated with Tamil superstars such as Vijay (for Varisu), hasn't found luck in K'town. Will he be able to pull off a blockbuster with Dhanush, well, we may have to wait and see how that turns out!
