Kodi

Trisha plays the antagonist in this political drama. This movie revolves around two lovers competing in an election. Director R.S. Durai Senthilkumar's movie has Dhanush in dual roles: Kodi and Anbu. Kodi competes with his ambitious girlfriend Rudra, played by Trisha, in the elections, while his twin brother, Anbu, gets forcefully dragged into the battle. When Kodi is killed, Anbu seeks revenge against the one who murdered his twin brother.

Raangi

Directed by M Saravanan, this thriller, headlined by Trisha, revolves around a journalist who finds a fake Facebook account of her niece. She also finds out that a boy named Aalim from Libya is connected to the account. On the other hand, the FBI wants to catch Aalim by using the woman and her niece as bait. How she tackles this situation forms the rest of the story. This film sees Trisha in a serious role. She carried the film on her shoulders with her engaging performance.
