Prabhas teases fans about 'someone special', sparking speculations galore

Telugu superstar Prabhas sparked a massive online frenzy on Friday with a social media update on his Instagram. "Darlings!!... Finally, someone very special is about to enter our life...Wait Cheyandhi...," read the message on his Instagram story.

Prabhas's message led to speculations among fans. Many are wondering if the announcement is related to his marriage. Prabhas's marriage is one of the highly debated popular topics in the media. His latest post has added more fuel to this speculation.

However, a section of fans on social media believes that the impending announcement has nothing to do with his personal life. Many think it might be related to his upcoming movies.

Prabhas is now waiting for the release of "Kalki 2898 AD." Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is touted to be one of the most expensive films ever made in India. After several delays, the film is now gearing up for release next month in cinemas worldwide.

Prabhas's announcement might very well be connected to the film's promotions. It's also noteworthy that the character look of Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan from "Kalki 2898 AD" has not been revealed yet. Is Prabhas's ambiguous post related to this?

"Kalki 2898 AD" is said to be India's first mytho-sci-fi movie. The film is deeply rooted in India's rich mythology and revolves around the legend of Kalki. Earlier, Nag Ashwin revealed that the story "spans 6000-year distance in time," starting from the Mahabharata period to the year 2898.

"Kalki 2898 AD" was earlier titled "Project K" and was expected to hit the screens last January. However, owing to the highly demanding production, the release was delayed by over a year. The producers surprised everyone by roping in Kamal Haasan to play the main antagonist.

The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. It is expected in cinemas on June 27.
