Murder in Mahim trailer- Ashutosh Rana and Vijay Raaz’s quest to solve a murder mystery holds the audience on the edge of their seats!

When two stellar artists come together in one frame, the resultant is nothing but fireworks of the highest order! We are talking about two powerhouses of talent viz., Ashutosh Rana and Vijay Raaz. The two will now be seen together in Murder in Mahim, an original series which will be streamed as a part of JioCinema Premium.

The makers, today, launched the gripping and hard-hitting trailer of Murder in Mahim. The series’ trailer starts off with ‘apna Mumbai’, which has been set in the year 2013. This is then followed by a gruesome murder which is being investigated by the police officer Jende (Vijay Raaz), who introduces himself as someone who was called as James Bond, when he had joined the police department! On the other hand, there is Peter Fernandes (Ashutosh Rana), a journalist by profession.

The trailer, then, takes the viewer to the hardcore investigation that’s being done by Jende, who is then seen with Peter Fernandes. Jende is seen telling Peter Fernandes that his son’s number was found in the call records of a sex worker, who had been murdered. The trailer then, carries forward to Rajesh Khattar’s character who tells Peter Fernandes that the toilet of Mahim station has been a ‘adda’ of prostitution.

The trailer then, zips, zaps and zooms between the investigation of Jende and on the other hand, there is a simultaneous investigation that gets carried out by Peter Fernandes as well. There are extremely strong and undercurrent of many unspoken words between Peter Fernandes and his young son.

The said series, Murder In Mahim, is an adaptation from a critically acclaimed book by author Jerry Pinto. Besides Ashutosh Rana and Vijay Raaz, the series also stars Shivani Raghuvanshi and Shivaji Satam in important roles. The psychological thriller has been directed by Raj Acharya and has been produced by Ajit Andhare.
