Actor Suhas' psychological thriller Prasanna Vadanam, which was released in theatres today, May 3, has received positive reviews from audiences and critics alike. The latest from the movie is that the OTT rights have been secured by a major Telugu streaming giant. Aha has reportedly bagged the rights for a decent price and will be available on the streaming platform after the film’s theatrical run.

Prasanna Vadanam opened to generally positive reviews. Following the FDFS (first day first show), many X (formerly Twitter) users commented that Tollywood has yet another summer hit after Tillu Square. The film began trending after netizens began reacting to it. 

One X user wrote, “Prasanna Vadanam is a gripping thriller with standout performances and masterful direction by Arjun, delivering an unforgettable cinematic experience.” 

While praising the performances of the lead actors, another user wrote, “Prasanna Vadanam what a film, with crazy twists. Actor Suhas no words to describe his acting. Suhas’ character suffers from face blindness in Prasanna Vadanam

Directed by Arjun YK, Prasanna Vadanam is a psychological thriller that revolves around a young man (played by Suhas) who suffers from a rare medical condition called face blindness. Due to his condition, he finds it difficult to recognise faces, including his own in the mirror. On a dreadful day, he witnesses a murder but is unable to identify the culprit’s face. 

This thriller has several twists. Besides Suhas, the film also stars Payal Radhakrishna, Rashi Singh, Nandu, Viva Harsha, Nithin Prasanna, Sai Swetha, Kushalini, and others in supporting roles.

With positive reviews, Prasanna Vadanam appears to have quickly won the audience's heart. It will be interesting to see the film's box office numbers by the end of its first day.
